• Please call our answering
service, MedLink, at 323-5465
if you feel your emergency cannot wait until
regular office hours. The physician on-call
will be paged. If you call After Hours with a medical emergency, your call will be responded to by a physician. We do not use a nurse triage system. We do not charge for After Hours phone calls. We ask that you be mindful of this service and use it appropriately to handle true medical emergencies.
• You may also call our office after
hours and our recording will give you the
MedLink phone number. Please remember routine
prescriptions will NOT be handled during after
hours.
• We recommend using the Dell Children's Medical Center ER (324-8000)
for most emergencies. However time and severity
of illness may dictate that you choose an
Emergency Room closer to your home. Most emergency
rooms and minor ER’s can handle simple
emergencies such as lacerations and broken
bones. |

• For life threatening
emergencies anytime during the day or night,
always call 911. • A physician is
available 24 hours a day for emergencies. |
 |
| If the emergency occurs during
the day and is not life threatening, call
our office for instructions. In many instances,
our office can handle lacerations and minor
fractures. |
 |
| Should you need immediate assistance
for an ingestion, please contact Poison Control
at 1-800-222-1222. |
 |
| Our office rotates night, weekend,
